SISMONDI - Contemporary Art and Poetry Movements
was born with the help of Fondazione CARIM di Rimini and the patronage of Provincia and Comune di Rimini.
It is an international event. It has also obtained the patronage form the Ministero dei Beni Culturali.

The project, which will happen yearly and every two years (biennale), will be sinergically tied with the Expo 2015 in Milan.

The Coordinators of the first edition are Professor Beatrice Buscaroli and Professor Davide Rondoni.
Other important personalities are collaborating with the organizers of the event with the ambition to push it at the top of italian cultural scene.

The edition of 2009 has been hosting the exhibition "CONTEMPLAZIONI. Bellezza e tradizione del Nuovo nella pittura italiana contemporanea"
(CONTEMPLATIONS. Beauty and tradition in the New of contemporary italian Painting)
selected by Alberto Agazzani which exhibited with huge success 100 works of great contemporary artists.

The Biennale presents this year the first edition of PREMIO RIMINI which will host the exhibition
CONFRONTO A DIECI . Poeti e pittori in visioni contemporanee
from the 9th of July until the 8th of August 2010 .
